ABOUT THE ROLE
This isn't a desk role. You'll work across new product launches and special projects including optimizing cost, process, and machine improvement — end to end, from recipe finalisation to commercial productions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead scale-up of finalized formulations from lab to commercial production.
● Identify suitable manufacturing lines, machinery, and process flow for new products.
● Assess machinery requirements and coordinate equipment validation and production trials at manufacturing/co-manufacturer sites.
● Define and implement QA/QC standards for raw materials, in-process controls, and finished products.
● Validate packaging formats and conduct transit, handling, and shelf-life trials.
● Provide on-site support during trial and commercial production runs.
● Ensure process validation and documentation are completed as per quality requirements.
● Drive cost optimization initiatives across raw materials, processing, and packaging.
● Identify manufacturing efficiency gaps and implement improvements through process, mechanical, or SOP modifications.
● Track commercialization progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

EDUCATION -
M.Sc/M.Tech in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology EXPERIENCE - 3-4 years of experience in NPD/Manufacturing in food industry

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
● Good communication skills
● Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
● Strong knowledge of quality testing methods and equipment.
● Understanding of regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, etc.).
● Good documentation and reporting skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
● Experience of handling team members
● Knowledge of MS excel and Powerpoint presentation

Side note - Willingness to travel extensively to manufacturing plants and co-manufacturer locations, inter and intra city, to support trials and production activities.
